The one year diploma program lays a lot of emphasis on skill developmet of the students that equipped them with knowledge, skills and abilities related to Retail Marketing, Customer Handling, Accounting & Negotitation. After completion of the one year diploma the student will have better understanding about the environment and Economy with better communication & Management skills. Various career option available to the student are as:

Store Assistant, Lobby Manager, Front Office Executive, Counter Sales Executive, Customer Care Executive, sales and Accounts Executive, Field sales Executive , Data Collection Executive and Help Desk executive.

Course Objective

A three years Under Graduate Management Programme at JCC is an intensive, rigorous and methodical study designed to:

IInd Installment

IVth Installment

Vth Installment

The library at JCC Sector 3 Rohini is a veritable storehouse of information with ample text and reference books, national and international periodicals and journals. Well equipped and fully computerized library provides latest research and reference material in print and audio-visual formats along with the facility to refer to e-journals, Project Reports, Government Publications etc. To cultivate values in students and enhance their personality, the knowledge storehouse has an array of books on social issues and historical readings. The reading rooms provide a conducive environment for better learning and concentration.

The Department of Management organized an engaging Debate Competition

The Department of Management organized an engaging Debate Competition on 3rd December '24 offering students a platform to showcase their critical thinking and public speaking skills. The topic was Innovation versus Invention :What is more important? Here students explained and debated that Invention is the creation of a new idea, product, or process, representing originality and breakthroughs. Innovation, on the other hand, focuses on improving or applying these ideas to create value and solve real-world problems. While invention provides new possibilities, innovation drives adoption, practicality, and economic growth. Both are essential, but innovation often holds greater importance for long-term success because it transforms potential into tangible impact, ensuring that new ideas are utilized and widely embraced .

"Innovate for Impact” social entrepreneurship competition

The Department of Management hosted the “Innovate for Impact” social entrepreneurship competition on October 16, 2024, aimed at inspiring students to develop business solutions that address social challenges. The event showcased a diverse array of projects, including an eco-friendly smart recycling bin, a women's safety app, biodegradable sanitary pads, a mental health support app, and sustainable agarbatti made from waste flowers. Other notable ideas included promoting Indian handicrafts, biodegradable packaging, and waterless soaps and shampoos.

Group Discussion on Impact of Social Media on Youth

The discussion amongst the students enables them to come up with many innovative ideas which would help in overcoming the weaknesses that the youth is facing. It helps to build a healthy environment in which students are able to interact freely. It is highly appreciative to observe the engagement and enthusiasm of the students.

Collage making activity – Culture of France

Collage making is both fun and learning for the students. It is a way to inculcate the value of one’s culture into others life. Such activities give chance to students to express themselves in a more creative manner.

Store Layout Planning: Conceptualisation and Building

The focus is to provide students a deeper knowledge of the practical world and gain experience in terms of taking decisions and analysing market scenarios. Here, they have created the existing brand stores to a new location covering all the aspects: store design (interior & exterior), location, and brand’s SWOT etc. This gives a chance to the students to think critically and creatively and teaches the value of taking right the decision under several work pressure.

The competition provides a platform to the students to exhibit their analytical and problem solving skills to rectify the complications or come up with innovative solutions to the problem statement at hand. The students participate with full zeal and enthusiasm which was beyond the expectation.

Debate Competition-Chat GPT: Is Chat GPT Replaces Man Power

Debate sharpens the ability to research and analyse problems, think and listen critically and express the thoughts clearly and fluently. Moreover, this helps students to handle the questions raised by the audience and judges that increases their potential to understand and respond immediately.

Collage Presentation Activity

Through this activity the students present their perspective on various topics of Organizational Behaviour such as sexual harassment at workplace, ageism at workplace, the third gender- transforming workplace in India, stress management, technology at workplace, workforce diversity, mental health of employees and many more.

Environment Concerns

Environmental activity related to reuse of plastic bottles and planting in them focus on the impacts of plastic waste on the environment and the potential benefits of recycling and reusing plastic bottles for gardening purposes.

Business Word Formation

Business word search is a fantastic technique to let students improve their vocabulary. It is conducted to enhance the reading abilities like scanning, decoding and utilising words related to Human Resource Management.
