Each creation was a testament to the participants’ creativity and their ability to repurpose waste in
an innovative manner.
Motive behind the competition it was found that daily multiple wastes are produce and they are just
thrown away. It was an initiative taken that students can use the waste materials and could produce
something creative. It was also organized to give a platform to students to showcase their art and
craft skills and most importantly the presentation skills as the students were also asked to present
their products. Trash-O-Mania was more than just a competition; it was an initiative that inspired
students to rethink waste management. The event successfully instilled in them a sense of
environmental responsibility while showcasing the potential of up cycling. The overwhelming
response and enthusiasm have set the foundation for Trash-O-Mania to become a recurring event,
fostering a culture of creativity and sustainability among students. This competition proved that with
a little imagination and effort, even trash can be turned into something valuable.
