Course Objective

  • To give expression to your creative ideas.
  • To create a strong foundation in the basic principles and elements of design, drawing and color in order to develop a non-verbal design language, visual logic, and fluency of expression.
  • To encourage creative expression and original work within a structured curriculum that balances theory and practice, vision and planning, creativity and logic, art and technology .
  • To develop skills in applying design principles in a wide variety of residential and non-residential projects; requiring knowledge of space planning, materials, finishes, textiles, lighting, surfaces, structures and codes .

Auditorioum for seminars and workshop

Auditoriums are meant for huge gatherings where the workshops and seminars are being conducted. Experts are being called for giving special lectures on various concepts. Workshops are conducted to train the students and provide them with the expertise of designing products.

Studio for sheet work

Studios have been designed for the students to work on the projects. The infrastructure for studio is for working on sheets. It has high desks and bar stools for individual students to work separately on their projects.

Theory classroom with smart boards

Theory classrooms have blackboards and smart-board both in each class for making learning a smart learning. Presentations, lectures and discussion are different modes of teaching used in the classrooms.

Activity for the development of Designer Trouser

Activity OF MADHUBANI: To understand the concept of using LINE in design .To know various types of lines:  line type , line weight etc. Madhubani Art: design & motives were develop by adding the most important element of design LINE.

Activity OF SKETCHING:  It helps the students to understand the concept of sciography and also helps to develop a free hand sketch with the implementation of shading and rendering techniques.

Activity On paper lantern making: To understand the creative execution of activity with paper .To play with colors and to be more creative.

Activity Of quiz: To analyze the knowledge of the entire course and to test their material knowledge.

It also helped to check their  overview about the interiors and the trends prevailing in the market.

Activity Of  candlestand: To analyse the creativity of students by enhancing any product used in interiors . Creative paper quilling learnt and is a good method to learn making creative things in low budget .

Activity Of   commercial display   Students were able to do live display with different products such as garments,  gift items, gadgets and footwear .Students were given theme to work on such as valentine , diwali , spring and Christmas. Area was being allocated to the group of students and combination of product & theme. Activity was conducted for two days1st day students worked on the display structure. 2nd day a small exhibition was organized by them and judgement was done on the basis of their efforts

Activity Of   FLOORING DESIGN: Students needs to be aware of the flooring materials and seigning with various stones.

Activity Of   coster making :Students needs to learn the tessellation making with the medium of coster the design is executed.

Activity Of   panel making:   Students learn the panel making with the help of POP and color symmetry.

Activity Of   optical illusion: Students learn the color combinations and execute the optical illusions .
